Cookie Policy
Effective July 28, 2026
This page is written in English. Call 211 free, any hour, for help in your language.
We use a small number of cookies to remember your language and to keep the site working. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, so there is nothing here to opt into.
Why you don't see a cookie banner
Consent banners exist to get permission for advertising and cross-site tracking. We do neither. Every cookie on this site is strictly necessary to deliver the page you asked for or to remember a preference you set yourself, so we disclose them here instead of interrupting someone who is trying to find a food pantry.

Things stored in your browser (not cookies)
Two pieces of information live in your browser's local storage and are never transmitted to us as part of a profile:
The ZIP code you typed, so you don't have to retype it on every page.
Your saved list of places, so you can print or share it.
On a shared or public computer, clear your saved list when you're finished, or browse in private mode.
Analytics
We count activity — searches run, categories opened, calls started, languages used — without cookies and without identifying you. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, and no third-party tracker on this site.
Managing cookies
Every major browser lets you view, block, and delete cookies in its settings. Blocking ours will not lock you out of anything; the site will simply forget your language choice and ask again. Agency staff who block cookies will not be able to stay signed in.
Changes
If we ever add a cookie that is not strictly necessary, we will update this page first and ask for your consent before setting it.
