This service gives you a list of apartment buildings that receive government money to offer lower rent. The list shows the address, who to contact, and details about each building. There is also a special list of apartments for people age 62 and older, and for younger people with disabilities.

- Who can use it
- Anyone can look at the lists for free. Some of the apartments have income limits for who can live there and get rent help. Some private buildings on the list may accept people with felony records. The Cleveland office serves the northern half of the state. The Columbus office serves the southern half.

- What to expect
- You can search online for apartments - that is the best way. If you do not have a computer, you can call to get a list. If you call after hours, leave your name, address, and phone number and the list will be mailed to you. The office will call you back the same business day if you leave a voicemail with space for a message.
