A program of City Mission

City Mission opens a drop-in shelter during extreme cold weather. You get a place to stay and meals. The shelter is open 24 hours a day when temperatures drop below 20 degrees Fahrenheit.

24 hrs a day during periods of extreme cold.
Who can use it: You must be 18 or older and homeless. The shelter serves homeless women and homeless women with children.
Languages: English on-site. Other languages by phone.
What to expect: Call anytime to ask about emergency shelter. You can also walk in to either location. If you walk in after 6:00pm at the men's shelter or after 9:00pm at the women's shelter, you must stay the whole night. There are curfew rules for people staying during extreme cold.
What to bring: Call ahead to confirm what documents you'll need to bring.
