This program helps families who have lost their home due to a fire or natural disaster. They give you a voucher to buy items or pay for emergency services to set up a new household.

- Who can use it
- You must have experienced a loss from a fire or a disaster declared by the Governor. You also need to live in Cuyahoga County, have a household income at or below 200% of the federal poverty level, and be a parent, caregiver, legal guardian, or legal custodian of a child aged 18 or younger (or still in high school), or be pregnant in your third trimester or later.

- What to expect
- The voucher can cover rent and/or a security deposit (up to $750), stoves and refrigerators (up to $200), baby furniture, children's beds/mattresses (up to $250), children's clothing (up to $150 per child), adult clothing replacement due to fire or flood (up to $225), and general furniture (up to $400 for things like a couch or table). They don't cover entertainment furniture or washers/dryers.
- What to bring
- Proof of address Proof of income received by any member of the household during the previous 30 days. Examples of acceptable verification are pay stubs

- and self-employment records (income ledger or self-declaration). If needed
- agency can verbally confirm income with employer or other income source - or with the applicant (if self-employed). Proof of ALL liquid assets (verbal or written) Proof of the applicant's change in circumstance leading to the current need and written proof that the applicant made a significant attempt to use other community services to meet the need presented. - need a medical statement verifying pregnancy. In addition
- if the cost of the need exceeds the amount of PRC that is to be issued
- the applicant must provide verification that they have paid the amount in excess of the PRC payment
- prior to receiving payment.
