This service helps families with rent and security deposits. It's for emergencies that won't last longer than 4 months.

- Who can use it
- You must live in Cuyahoga County and your household income must be at or below 200% of the federal poverty level. You also need to be a parent, caretaker, relative, legal guardian, or legal custodian of a minor child (18 or younger, or up to 18 if still in high school) who lives with you, or be pregnant in your third trimester or later.

- What to expect
- You can get a voucher for a security deposit and/or one month's rent (up to $1000) for a new household. If you're staying in your current apartment, you can get up to two months' rent (up to $1000). You can use this once per calendar year.
- What to bring
- Proof of address Proof of income received by any member of the household during the previous 30 days. Examples of acceptable verification are pay stubs
