Who can use it

You must live in Cuyahoga County and your household income must be at or below 200% of the Federal poverty level. Also, you need to be a parent, caretaker, guardian, or custodian of a minor child, or be pregnant in your third trimester or after.

What to expect

They can help with a security deposit or one month's rent for a new home, up to $1000 once a year. They can also help with up to two months of past-due rent to stay in your current home, up to $1000 once a year.

What to bring

• Proof of address Proof of income received by any member of the household during the previous 30 days. Examples of acceptable verification are pay stubs
• letter from the employer
• award letter
• and self-employment records (income ledger or self-declaration). If needed
• agency can verbally confirm income with employer or other income source - or with the applicant (if self-employed). Proof of ALL liquid assets (verbal or written) Proof of the applicant's change in circumstance leading to the current need and written proof that the applicant made a significant attempt to use other community services to meet the need presented.
