Who can use it

You must live in Cuyahoga County, have a minor child or be pregnant, and your household income must be at or below 200% of the Federal poverty level. This aid is for an emergency and cannot exceed four months.

What to expect

You'll need to show you have a minor child or are in your third trimester of pregnancy. They'll also check your income and see if you've received aid from them in the past.

What to bring

• Proof of address Proof of income received by any member of the household during the previous 30 days. Examples of acceptable verification are pay stubs
• letter from the employer
• award letter
• and self-employment records (income ledger or self-declaration). If needed
• agency can verbally confirm income with employer or other income source - or with the applicant (if self-employed). Proof of ALL liquid assets (verbal or written) Proof of the applicant's change in circumstance leading to the current need and written proof that the applicant made a significant attempt to use other community services to meet the need presented.
