If you're in an emergency and need help paying rent or a security deposit, this program can provide a voucher. They offer up to $1,000 for rent or a security deposit.

- Who can use it
- You must live in Cuyahoga County, have a minor child or be pregnant, and your household income must be at or below 200% of the Federal poverty level. This aid is for an emergency and cannot exceed four months.

- What to expect
- You'll need to show you have a minor child or are in your third trimester of pregnancy. They'll also check your income and see if you've received aid from them in the past.
- What to bring
- Proof of address Proof of income received by any member of the household during the previous 30 days. Examples of acceptable verification are pay stubs

- and self-employment records (income ledger or self-declaration). If needed
