Joseph's Home provides a safe place to stay while you recover from a medical condition. You get a private room, meals, medicine management, and help from staff. They also help you find permanent housing, apply for benefits, and get connected to doctors and mental health services.

- Who can use it
- You must be 18 or older and verified as homeless by Cuyahoga County Coordinated Intake. You must have a medical condition that needs treatment or stabilization, and you must already be receiving treatment for it. You must be able to take care of yourself with daily tasks like bathing and using the bathroom. You must be able to move around on your own. You must be able to live in a group setting and not need emergency mental health care.

- What to expect
- You must go through Coordinated Intake at Bishop William Cosgrove to apply. If you are being released from a hospital, hospital staff can call Coordinated Intake or contact Joseph's Home directly. If you have already left the hospital, go to Coordinated Intake yourself and say you want to stay at Joseph & Mary's Home. You will need medical records showing your current health condition. You can call Joseph's Home Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, for questions about the process. The average stay is three months.
