Laura's Home provides shelter and programs that last 8 to 12 months. You get help with housing, job readiness, case management, and continuing education. The program has a Christian focus and all participants are expected to join Christian activities. There are 166 beds available.

- Hours vary — see schedule below24 hrs a day, Long-term program is 8-12 months. Curfew is 9:00pm nightly or 7:00pm, depending on programming and applies to all shelter clients.
- Who can use it
- You can use this service if you are a woman (including transgender women) age 18 or older in crisis - like housing emergencies or family problems. Single women and pregnant women are welcome. You can bring minor children and sons up to age 17. If you have mental health issues, you can be accepted if you follow shelter rules and are not a safety risk. People leaving prison may be eligible if they worked with this agency while incarcerated. You must be able to follow curfew rules. Service animals (dogs and mini-horses only) are allowed. Convicted sex offenders cannot use this service.

- What to expect
- Call anytime to start intake or ask questions - you cannot walk in. There is usually a waiting list, but it changes daily. When it is very cold (below 20 degrees with wind chill) and beds are full, no one will be turned away. Curfew is 9:00pm or 7:00pm depending on your program. The service is free.
