A program of Hebrew Free Loan Association
The Hebrew Free Loan Association gives interest-free loans up to $10,000. The money can be used for school tuition, medical expenses, home improvements, small business needs, or to pay off high-interest debt from other places. You pay back the loan in monthly payments. The check goes to whoever you owe money to, not to you.

- Who can use it
- You must have enough income to pay all your bills while paying back the loan each month. If you have a spouse or partner in your household, their income counts too - together you need enough to cover all bills plus the loan payment. You need one person (called a guarantor) who lives in Northeast Ohio in a different household and can pay back the whole loan if you cannot. Banks have turned you down for a regular loan, but you may have been offered a high-interest loan (more than 20% interest). You don't need a perfect credit score, but you should try to pay your bills on time.
- Languages
- English on-site. Other languages by phone.

- Call ahead to confirm what documents you'll need to bring.
