A mediator helps you and the other person talk about your conflict. They listen to both sides but don't make a decision for you. Instead, they help you both find a solution you can agree on. Issues can include rent, repairs, lease terms, or communication problems.

What to expect: Call or use the website to set up an appointment. A mediation specialist will talk with both parties to review your case. If mediation is right for your situation, you'll have a second appointment with a mediator.
