Who can use it

You must meet federal income limits, be a US citizen or eligible immigrant, pass a background check, and meet other rules. Only one adult per household can apply.

What to expect

If you get a voucher, you'll pay about 30-40% of your income for rent, and the voucher covers the rest. The voucher moves with you, meaning you can use it in any approved unit as long as you're eligible. There is a waiting list.

Application with Declaration of Citizenship form
Social Security cards for all family members
photo ID
birth certificates for all family members
military discharge form DD214 (if applicable).
