This service gives children a safe place to stay, food, clothes, and a bed when they need it. A family coach watches over the child while they are staying in a host home. The service also gives parents mentors to help them.

24 hours a day, 7 days a week, length of stay is determined by the need/situation and arranged by client and the agency.
Who can use it: You may be able to use this service if your family is going through a crisis - like homelessness, domestic violence, a parent in drug or alcohol treatment, a parent getting medical or mental health care and cannot take care of children, a child at risk of abuse or neglect, a parent in jail for a short time, or a parent needing a break from caring for a child with developmental disabilities.

What to expect: Call the helpline Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, or ask for information on the website. The service is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. How long your child stays is decided by what your family needs.
