If you are a First Energy/Illuminating Company customer, we might help with your electricity bill. We can offer up to $200 if you're facing disconnection.

- Who can use it
- You must be 18 or older and a First Energy/Illuminating Company customer. We can help once per year, and we can't pay reconnection fees. Sometimes, if you're 60 or older, you don't need a shut-off notice.

- Bring your shut-off notice. You'll need to show your household income is at or below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines.
