Water Affordability Program

A program of Chn Housing Partners

This program gives customers of Cleveland Division of Water a 40% monthly discount on their water bill for one year. It does not stop the water company from shutting off your water if you don't pay.

Applications open: year-round.
Who can use it: You must live in an area served by Cleveland Division of Water (including parts of Summit County). You must own and live in your home. Your water must already be turned on - this program cannot help if your water is shut off. Your total household income must be at or below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines. You must verify your income every year to stay eligible.

What to expect: You fill out an application online or call for more information. The application is on the website under Housing and Community Services, then Help with utility payments. You can sign it online. It is free to apply. Applications are open year-round.
