- You must be a veteran with an honorable discharge, active duty military, or a dependent of a veteran. You must have lived in Geauga County for 90 days. They consider your income and benefits.

- You'll get vouchers for the help you need, and the amount depends on what you show you need.
- What to bring
- Documentation requirements are extensive and will vary with service sought. They will include at least: DD214
- proof of residency in Geauga County for at least 90 days
- a doctor's statement of client's status as unemployable or capable of limited employment
- and pay stubs for the previous 2 months. For burial assistance
- must be able to prove need. All requirements will be explained at initial visit and in the information packet provided.
