If you're behind on your gas, electric, or water bill, or need help with a deposit to start new service, this program can help. They offer up to $750 in the calendar year for all combined utilities.

- Who can use it
- You must live in Cuyahoga County, have a minor child or be pregnant, and your household income must be at or below 200% of the Federal poverty level.
- Languages
- English, Spanish on-site. Other languages by phone.
- What to expect
- You'll need to show you have a minor child or are in your third trimester of pregnancy. They'll also check your income and see if you've received aid from them in the past.
- What to bring
- Completed application form Proof of address Proof of income received by any member of the household during the previous 30 days. Examples of acceptable verification are pay stubs
- letter from the employer
- award letter
- and self-employment records (income ledger or self-declaration). If needed
- agency can verbally confirm income with employer or other income source - or with the applicant (if self-employed). Proof of ALL liquid assets (verbal or written) Proof of the applicant's change in circumstance leading to the current need and written proof that the applicant made a significant attempt to use other community services to meet the need presented. If pregnant
- need a medical statement verifying pregnancy. In most cases
- will need a disconnect notice (see WHO QUALIFIES for exceptions). For water bill: if the applicant's name is not on the bill
