This program gives you a food card for staples, fruits, and vegetables. You can also get nutrition education and breastfeeding support.

Who can use it
This is for pregnant women, or women up to six months after birth, miscarriage, or abortion. Your children can get help until their fifth birthday.

What to expect
Interpreters are available if you need them. In the summer, you might get a $30 voucher for a Farmers' Market.
What to bring
  • I.D. that shows name and birth date for those in the household who are applying for benefits. (Could even be a crib card from the hospital). Need proof of pregnancy from doctor or clinic
  • unless the pregnancy is clearly visible. Also need 3 pay stubs
  • SSI statements
  • proof of Medicaid
  • Ohio Works First
  • Food Stamps or other means of verifying income
  • a written statement from child's father saying he is paying child support
  • proof of child's current immunizations
  • proof of residency (including utility
  • telephone or credit card statement).
